Noor didn’t marry for Egyptian citizenship
According to the London daily Elaph, the Lebanese artist Noor denied recent media reports in Egyptian newspapers that she married 40 year-old Syrian businessman Yousif Antaki, who resides and works in Egypt, to gain Egyptian citizenship.

The newspaper report asserted that Noor would benefit from Egyptian citizenship, especially after the announcement by the head of the Art Association, Ashraf Zaki that foreign actors working in Egypt are only allowed to work on one dramatic project per-year.

Noor married Yousif Antaki a few months ago in a small family ceremony in Beirut. The couple spent their honeymoon in Beirut and Sharm Al Sheikh, Egypt.

Noor and her husband will reside in Cairo.
- As for her acting career, Noor turned down an offer to play the leading role in the television drama series “Zahrah Wa Al Ashwak” (The Flower And Thorn). She wants to devote time to her husband and to hopes to get pregnant soon.
