NSF to expand agreement with specialized clinics to transfer patients abroad
The National Social Fund for the wage-workers recently expanded the agreements with the private clinics, particularly clinics that are specialized in diseases that require transfer for treatment abroad, as well as the gradual mainstreaming of the contract with the attending doctor in all the regional agencies, and continuing the program which aims to develop the capacities of these specialized clinics which belong to the Fund that ensures the financial balances in order to collect contributions of the social security in light of the debts that are accumulated for the various debtors.

Department of the National Social Fund of the Waged-workers established, since the beginning of the year, a series of measures to improve the process comprehensive reforms of the social security system, across its 49 agencies, 870 payment structures, 3 private clinics, 35 diagnosis centres and 51 pharmacies.

The NSF aims to assess the implementation of activities by the public authorities in the prices reference and dissemination of the Shifaa system in the national agencies.

“The aim of these new measures is to identify efforts by the NSF and the modernization of the managing process. The NSF achieved its goals, particularly those related to the chronic diseases that require transfer for treatment abroad”, General Manager of the NSF, Berabeh Zebar told Echorouk.
