October 6, a Historic Date to Bring Down the Makhzen Alliance with the Zionist Entity

The National Working Group for Palestine in Morocco announced the organization of a national protest march on October 6, 2024, in support of Palestine and to demand the cancellation of all normalization agreements and the expulsion of the Zionists from the Kingdom, calling on the Moroccan people and its living forces to participate extensively in this march in the capital, Rabat.

The Moroccan group explained, in a statement, that this march comes in the context of the continuation of the genocide in the Gaza Strip and its expansion to include the West Bank, Jerusalem and all of occupied Palestine, and also in light of the silence of the international community on the crimes committed against the Palestinians and the Moroccan regime’s continued normalization with the usurping and criminal entity.

In light of this situation in which all values have fallen, the statement added, the National Working Group for Palestine calls on the Moroccan people and their living forces to engage in the activities that it will organize to commemorate the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood and to participate extensively in the national march that it will organize on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Rabat at 10:00 am, starting from Bab El-Had.

The Moroccan group, which includes dozens of anti-normalization bodies, also called for redoubling efforts and comprehensive mobilization to overthrow the normalization agreements and force the Zionist enemy to stop its aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Moroccan people have been tirelessly continuing their anti-normalization protests with all their strength and categories, as the Moroccan Committee to Support the Nation’s Causes has organized more than 5400 sit-ins and demonstrations and more than 710 marches that have swept through all cities and villages in the Kingdom, rejecting the Makhzen’s continued relations with the Zionist entity and demanding the overthrow of normalization.

Anti-normalization activists in Morocco stress the need for the Makhzen state to back down from all the normalization steps it has taken, warning against security and military agreements that mortgage the country’s sovereignty and threaten its strong security, expressing their rejection of the return of the criminal Zionist entity’s representative to Rabat and opening a den of destruction and corruption, and confirming the continuation of popular protests until normalization is officially and finally overthrown in defence of the homeland.
