Oprah views Nancy as the Arab version of Britney Speers

The famous American talk show host Oprah Winfrey gave the title of “Arab Speers” to the famous Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram during a recent show featuring celebrities from around the world.

• The satellite channel “MBC” aired the episode of the show featuring Nancy, including reportage about the famous artist.
• Oprah called Nancy the Arab Britney Speers because of her fame in the Arab world and her mass following.
•  Oprah also talked about how Nancy’s dance moves were viewed as controversial by many in the conservative Arab culture.
•  “New York Week” magazine characterized Nancy among the most influential people in the Middle East.
• On the other hand, Nancy will be participating in a music video clip for children with the famous Tunisian artist Saber Al Riba’y and Egyptian artist Mahmoud Qabeel.  Nancy was recently named by UNICEF as an ambassador for children in the Middle East.
