Over 946 Algerians Were Involved In 1055 Cyber Crime Cases In 2016

General Directorate of the National Security announces on the registration of more than 1055 cyber crime cases during 2016; which are related to infringement upon persons via the Internet, the attack on the integrity of information systems, online fraud, and other types of cyber crimes, in which more than 946 people were involved.

“On the occasion of the celebration of the Safer Internet Day, February 7, of each year, which is celebrated by more than 100 countries across the world, that in the context of strengthening the use of the Internet in a secure and meaningful way, especially among kids and youth, the General Directorate of National Security launched an awareness campaign of awareness, under the theme “Be The Change, Unite for a better Internet”, through social networks like Facebook and Twitter, and the official website of the GDNS.
