Paving the way for 6,000 new contract teachers in education

The Ministry of National Education is expected to open the information system for the digital floor, this Monday, to allow university graduates who wish to benefit from “contractual employment” to register remotely, with the aim of joining the rank of professor in one of the three educational levels.
Echorouk’s sources reported that the ministry’s interests are preparing to hire about 6,000 professors for vacant positions as “contract” in all subjects, as the electronic platform is likely to be opened this Monday, corresponding to July 15, to former professors who previously benefited from “contractual employment”, as well as university graduates in various branches and specialties have the opportunity to register themselves digitally, by entering their personal data set, the type of degree obtained and the year of graduation.
Our sources pointed out that the “information system” will undertake to study the files of those concerned, by arranging them in a “differential” order, based on a set of standards that have been carefully and practically established, in order to achieve the principles of fairness and equality among examinees, so that priority will be given to the category of old contractors who have previously occupied vacant positions, where they will be reappointed to their work institutions or to other institutions in the same educational district, based on the availability of the vacant financial position.
In addition, the same sources indicated that after the complete completion of the appointment of the “old contractors”, the stage of covering the remaining vacant financial positions will be shifted to the state, and the appointment of new professors will be based primarily on the criteria of “age” and “year of graduation”, as well as states with a large number of graduates, provided that all appointment curricula and inauguration transcripts are submitted before the next school entry 2024/2025.
Regarding the qualifications required for employment, the same sources confirmed that the same conditions will be maintained without introducing any changes to them, as the door to contractual employment to join the rank of primary school teacher in the Arabic language will be opened to holders of a bachelor’s degree in all specializations of language and Arabic literature, a branch of philosophy and science, Islamic, specializations.
Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Mathematics, Postgraduate Studies in Mathematics and Mathematics-Automated Communication in all branches and all their specializations, as well as holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences in all their specializations, will also be able to contract in primary schools.
With regard to the intermediate and secondary levels, the guardianship has maintained the same qualifications and certificates required for employment as professors in various subjects and specializations, without any significant modifications.
