Popular Mobilization in Morocco to Confront the Zionist Penetration

Dozens of Moroccan human rights and political organizations have announced the mobilization of their struggle bases to increase the pace of confronting normalization and the Zionist penetration of the Kingdom and to drop all treacherous agreements with the occupying Zionist entity.

This came in a statement that concluded a meeting attended by the National Working Group for Palestine, which includes dozens of anti-normalization bodies, and the National Union of Labor in Morocco, which was devoted to discussing the challenges facing the Kingdom in light of the Makhzen’s persistence in normalizing relations with the Zionist entity that has penetrated all aspects of the state.

According to the source, the two parties affirmed their “joint commitment to confronting normalization and the Zionist penetration of the country, and to consolidate and develop civil action extending at various levels,” stressing that the struggle will include advocacy and mobilization at the media and cultural levels to overthrow normalization.

For its part, the National Union of Labor in Morocco stressed its continued support for the Palestinian cause, especially since it is part of several international frameworks and global and continental syndical coordinations, which constitute platforms and forums supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people.

Furthermore, the Moroccan Initiative for Support and Advocacy of the Palestinian People called on the Moroccan people and their living forces to double their struggle to overthrow normalization and participate in all protests to force the Makhzen to sever ties with the Zionist entity.

Previously, Moroccan syndicates in the education sector warned against educational normalization and the “consecration” of this destructive Zionist project through school clubs and curricula “under the pretext of spreading the culture of tolerance and coexistence, while Zionist educational curricula consecrate absolute hatred for Arabs.”

In this context, they confirmed the necessity of “confronting this shameful Zionist project, and protecting the rising generations and through them protecting society, by spreading the culture of counter-awareness and exposing all normalization steps and the colonial and racist nature of the Zionist entity in its dealings with the students and children of Palestine.”
