Presidential Elections 2014: New initiative to break Bouteflika-Benflis preponderance, avoid turmoil

Candidates for the Presidential Elections are continuing their last bet before the rebate, by recruiting the required number of observers to ensure adequate coverage in offices and ceners of polls, to coincide with the birth of a new initiative against protests by the candidate who wants to stay in power, and another who seeks to return to it, in reference to Bouteflika and Benflis.

Movement is constant in offices of the Six candidates for the Presidential Elections, which take place on Thursday, as the focus remains on the efforts after a three weeks electoral campaign to recruit observers, who will be distributed to offices and centers on Thursday, to ensure the integrity and transparency of the process. However; this task was not easy for the candidate “Moussa Touati”, who will only distribute observers on centers of polls, while coordination will be with other candidates to cover the offices, while representatives of the candidate, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, were put apart on the grounds that all the administration is recruited in his favor, as was confirmed by ” Abdelkader Boudjerras”, Touati’s campaign manager, who announced the new initiative, which is currently conducting the necessary contacts with the concerned parties, who are candidates for the Presidential Elections, Louisa Hanoune, Belaid Abdelaziz and Faouzi Rebbaine, as well as parties and personalities among the boycotters, along with other actors, including the former Communication Minister, Mohammad Said, in order to direct the conflict between two poles, and is intending the group of Benflis and Bouteflika supporters, and avoid protests, and the deflection of things that could destabilize the country, as the initiative aims to develop a common ground in case of the continuation of this conflict, to avoid a return to the nineties scenario, as well as ensure the peaceful democratic transition, a goal that intersects with the goals that were set by the boycotters.
Candidate Ali Benflis continue his intensified meetings with media and the parties that support him at the office, and in parallel with this, last preparations are made on the distribution of 60.000 observers in offices and centers of polls, as Loutfi Boumghar, a spokesman for the Directorate of the campaign, said this operation is the actual bet, so an arrangement was tight for the observers, as well as the presence of citizens and supporters for the sorting operations, believing that Algeria will notice true democracy after April 17, saying : ” We are very hopefull and very optimistic.”
Media Attaché at the Directorate of Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s campaign, Madjid Bekkouche, announced on entring a very important stage, which is the preparation for April 17, through the distribution of observers at offices and centers of polls, by recruiting 60.520 observers, a number which is more than the number of centers, which are 55.000 offices, as the necessary precautions have been taken fearing any emergency, criticising hard talking about fraud, by saying: Where is fraud, if there are observers in all offices?
