Presidential Elections' boycotters meet Hamrouche and Ghazali

Syndicate of parties and personalities boycotters of April 17 Elections, which changed its name to “coordination for the freedoms and democratic transition”, expanded its consultations with a number of national political figures, in order to deepen the debate and discussion on the topic of democratic transition, as representatives of the body met with the former Prime Ministers Mouloud Hamrouche and Sid Ahmed Ghazali on Tuesday, in their houses in the capital, while these meetings will be expanded to other parties and personalities that are scheduled in the coming days, as they are expected to meet with Ali Benflis next on Sunday.
Secretary General of Annahda (Renaissance) Movement, Mohamed Thouibi, quoted Mouloud Hamrouche as saying his visions agree with representatives of the coordinating parties and national figures boycotters of April 17 elections, as they met on Tuesday at his residence in the capital, before meeting the former Prime Minister Sid Ahmad Ghazali.
“Discussion was rich and we agreed that the current stage lacks the rules of political practice, before we discussed the programs and ideas, and that the system of government has reached total disability, and if it will not properly correct the situation thins will get complicated. In the context of what is called “financial prosperity” and despite the richness but the situation, whether social or economic is bad, and all indicators point to a real deficit that requires creating a new dynamic to the country”.
Representatives of the Coordination discussed the recent Presidential Elections, as reported by Thuibi in a phone call to Echorouk on Tuesday, as they asserted that they noticed inflation of the weak turnout with a doubled number, and declaring the victory of President Bouteflika, but the regime realizes that it is unable to cope with the challenges, and that it could not rule the country like it did befor, adding that the coordination can embody its demands “because the existing power knows that it is necessary to change the conditions of the country.”
For his part, head of the Movement of Society for Peace, Abderazak Mokri, said in a phone conversation with Echorouk, that after meeting Ghazali and Hamrouche, he is expected to meet with Ali Benflis this Sunday, waiting for the other names that will be announced at the time, among those the former President Liamine Zeroual, and Ali Yahia Abdelnour – as confirmed by Thuibi – .
