Rafik Djebbour to Echorouk: ““I will join the Desert Warriors in Crans Montanaâ€
Finally, the member of Federal Office and Manager of Algerian team Walid Sadi contacted the Algerian striker Rafik Djebbour on Friday night in order to know the reasons for not responding on Coach Rabah Saadane’s calls.
- Djebbour has told Sadi that he tried to phone the national team’s technical crew but he failed.
- Coach Saadane and his technical crew felt better when they learned that Djebbour would attend the team’s training camp in Crans Montana, especially since he is considered as one of the good players expected to show an amazing performance during the WC.
- Djebbour presented apologies to the coach Rabah Saadane who told Echorouk previously that he did not understand why Djebbour do not response to his calls.
- Rafik Djebbour solved the problems in his club Ayeck Athens that threatened him of stopping the contract if he joined the Algerian team before May 19.
- Although Rabah Saadane asserted that the players must be present before May 17, but he may allow Djebbour to stay in Athens until Monday.
- It seems that Rafik Djebbour kept the stick of the centre, as he tried not to upset coach Rabah Saadane and do not waste his future with his club Ayeck Athens.
- Algeria’s team striker Rafik Djebbour said, in a brief statement to Echorouk, he would reach the training camp on Sunday or Monday after he received the green light from his club Ayeck Athens.
- “I will join the Desert Warriors on Sunday or Monday”, he says.
- Djebbour claims he missed the phone number of coach Rabah Saadane; “I missed coach Rabah Saadane’s phone number that is why I was unable to call him”, he adds.
