Rafik Saifi to Echorouk: “Unfailing solidarity is the Fennecs' potent force”

After having scored 3 goals for the Algerian national squad as part pf the combined 2010 World cup and Africa cup of nation's qualifiers, Rafik Saifi has demonstrated that he remains a solid chip in the Algeria line-up under the guidance of national team coach Rabah Saâdane. 

• As a matter of fact, the beautiful goal scored in the 59th minute of play by seasoned striker Saifi on Sunday night at the Blida stadium versus Zambia, has opened the door to the 2010 world cup finals for the Fennecs to the delight of all the Algerian people.
• After some years of doubt and apprehension due to the pressure exerted on him by some ill-advised critics, Rafik Saifi has just demonstrated that despite being 34 years old, he remains a talented player and a fearsome striker.
• Now, according to all and sundry, his place as a forward within the Algerian line-up is highly deserved.
• Saifi also enjoys above all the full trust and confidence of national coach Rabah Saâdane.
• Rafik Saifi told Echorouk’s reporter that the main thing had been done. What remains to be done now, he says, is a victory over Rwanda on October 12th to seal Algeria’s much-awaited qualification to the 2010 world cup finals.
• Rafik Saifi also pointed out that the last qualifier versus Egypt in Cairo would be just a “walkover” in case of a Fennecs’ win against visiting Rwanda on October 12th 2009 in Blida stadium.
