Raouraoua asks players to reach world cup second round

President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua offered financial incentives to players and called on them to be disciplined ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, Echorouk has learnt.

Raouraoua who was accompanied by Algeria coach Vahid Halilhodzic held a meeting with players on Monday ahead of a friendly match against Slovenia due to be held on Wednesday.

He told players Algeria aims at reaching the second round of the world competition. He promised them of tempting rewards and asked them to be disciplined and respect the team’s rules and regulations.

“I am ready to dismiss any player who is not disciplined even if he was my son,” he said.

According to the same sources, Raouraoua and Halilhodzic talked about preparations program for the world cup and gave a copy of it to each player.

They stressed the necessity of coordination to achieve the best possible result and represent Algeria, Africa and the Arab Nation in the best way.

Algeria is the only Arab country which participates in the world cup for the second time consecutively.
