Reagents shortage in Algeria Pasteur Institute
The Algiers-based medical institute of Pasteur suffers from a shortage of reagents in medical analysis after the stock was used up, Echorouk has learnt.

“There are no more serum, vaccines and no reagents because the stock was not renewed,” said the same sources.
-
“This problem is due to malfunctioning and the policy of monopoly exercised by some officials over the institute to sign funding deals.”
-
According to the same sources, this problem started affecting the services intended to patients.
-
Most of the hospitals throughout the country notified the Algerian health ministry of the shortage of medical substances in their stocks.

Previously, more than 35,000 vaccines damaged at the institute of Pasteur due to the bad running of the cooling and conservation system.
