Results of competitive exams for teachers’ recruitment to be issued within three days
The National Education Ministry has decided to organize competitive exams for the recruitment of teachers in the three pedagogical cycles on the basis of a written test and not on the basis of diplomas as it was the common practice in the past with a view to picking out the most proficient and reliable candidates.
Informed sources told Echorouk that the Education Ministry had pledged to announce the results of the competitive exams in a very short span of time. These exams are set for July 2014.
It was decided to issue the returns of such competitive exams geared to teachers’ recruitment within three days at the latest compared to fifteen days previously. The move is aimed averting any tampering or fiddling with the list of the future laureates, the same sources explained.
Over 6 thousand job opportunities have been earmarked by the National Education Ministerial Department for the benefit of new school teachers across the national territory.
The future recruited teachers will be dispatched in all lines of study in the three school cycles.
According to the same sources, 2 thousand new jobs will be available in the primary school cycle, 2 thousand others in the intermediate cycle and also 2 thousand others will be earmarked for the secondary cycle and these figures might be hiked by the relevant authorities, if need be.
