Road accident kills 11, injures 56 in Algeria

Eleven people were killed and 56 injured Wednesday after the collision of two buses in area of Chehbounia in Medea (about 200 km south of Algiers), Algeria News Agency (APS) reported citing the civil protection.

• The accident took place at 4 a.m. on the national road No 40. Its causes have not been determined yet, said the same source.
• The victims were taken to the nearest hospital and an investigation was opened by security authorities.
