Saadani: “Algeria Is Targeted Because Bouteflika Rejects External Extortion”

Speech by the Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front, Amar Saadani, during a meeting with his party’s members at the Maghnia Sports Hall (western Algeria), was limited to the draft National wall and its importance, recalling his invitation to the parties, the popular organizations and the various classes of the Algerian community to support the project.

Saadani warned of the threats that target Algeria, both those coming from the border, mentioning by name the terrorist organization, ISIS, or those secret plots that are prepared in secret, in order to drag Algeria into the quagmire of the Arab Spring.

“Algeria is targeted because it refuses external extortion, and master of its decisions and positions, and the planners of the Arab Spring will never forget Algeria’s standing behind revealing the real objectives of the so-called Arab Spring, which aims to destroy the Arab world, like what is happening in Libya, Egypt and Syria.”

“Algeria’s history and natural resources attract the foreigners’ ambitions. Algeria has all the qualifications to lead the Maghreb and the Arab nation. People should support the armed forces, which is strong forces and cleats.”

Saadani sent an encrypted message to the Moroccan King, when he said that Algeria has qualifications to lead the Arab Maghreb and the Arab nation, in an implicit reference to the numerous manoeuvres of the Moroccan authorities, in an attempt to play the role of a leader and guardian of the Arab Maghreb.

“We feel sorry about the existence of some parties that want the deterioration of the situation in Algeria, through the implementation of foreign agendas to destabilize Algeria, especially that Algeria remains the only Arab country that stands in the face of the Zionists, and it is the only one which will never normalize its relationships with Israel. Algeria’s positions in this aspect made it a target of the imperialist powers, that are trying to subjugate the country and plunder its wealth.”

FLN Secretary-General chose a quiet speech, contrary to what was expected, because Ammar Saadani was expected to clash the Generals and the opposition, which made many observers consider his speech a way to enter into a truce phase in accordance with the arrangements and developments of the coming days.
