Said Abado asks France to apology and compensation the Algerians

Secretary-General of the National Organization of Mujahideen Said Abado, called upon government to establish a Supreme Council for the national memory that is guaranteed by law of war veterans and martyrs, adding that the recognition by President Francois Hollande, of the crimes committed by the French colonialism in Algeria is not sufficient even if it carries a kind of”remarkable development in the right direction.”
Abado confirmed, in a speech during the opening of regular works annual regular meeting between the members of the National Secretariat and secretaries of wilayas, on the importance of expediting the completion of the National Center for Historical Research and Studies of regional centers, considering that the recognition of President Francois Hollande, to the crimes committed by the French colonialism in Algeria as a “remarkable development in the right direction”. However, looking towards the establishment of constructive relations between the Algerian and French can not, as he said,be at the expense of the legitimate rights of the Algerian people, which is asking the French state to acknowledge the crimes that it committed during the era of occupation, with apologies and compensate for what they suffered from crimes, in addition to the retrieval of the National Archives and everything looted by France from Algeria, calling for expediting the promulgation of a law on criminalizing colonialism” in response to the law issued by the French parliament and the judge on the glorification of colonialism.
“I hope that the President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, will recover from illness, and return to the exercise of his functions in the near future. Algeria needs his mind and his relentless and sincerity of his determination. Thanks to President Bouteflika, Algeria managed to restore security, stability and national reconciliation.”
