Saudi Arabia obliges Algeria to vaccinate pilgrims
A commission in charge of medically supervising pilgrims in Algeria asked the religious affairs ministry to vaccinate pilgrims and examine their mental and psychological state.
- The vaccination is expected to start on May 8th and finish in October. It comes as most of health complications were found among pilgrims who did not undergo any medical tests before going to Saudi Arabia.
- The medical commission will choose doctors in charge of receiving and vaccinating pilgrims against Meningitis and influenza.

A special commission at the Algerian health ministry categorised 20 diseases banned in the 2010 pilgrimage season. Of them, eight types of heart diseases, four mental diseases, chronic sharp psychological diseases and renal insufficiency.
