The former General Manager of Algeria Telecom, “W.Ibrahim”, who is now in jail, said the intense competition that Algeria experienced in the field of communications is the thing that made him think of new projects to bring in customers.

• He added in Tuesday’s hearing that all the construction and renovation deals in the headquarters of Algeria Telecom were legal, particular Issat Idire in Algiers.

• However, the judicial experts and investigators proved that most of those projects were fake, and led to the waste of 22 million dinars due to fraud and inflation of the invoices, that’s why many of the employees, including the General manger, sub-mangers, general director of the post, were caught and now before the judiciary council of Algiers court.
