Security forces counted out of summer holidays
The police force officer A. I was forced to call off his marriage slated for this summer after being transferred to another town located in the south western borders of Algeria making it impossible for him to take his wife because of the absence of a flat to lodge his family.

Another officer has missed his wedding ceremony because he was not granted permission to attend for an “emergency” he said ironically “ I was married without my wife by my side” and was brought home alone.

A riot- police element has ventured and deserted while protests erupted in the southern parts of the country coinciding with his marriage, but returned the day after.

Many police elements are living on their nerves because of the allegations that the national police Director General Ali Tounsi is on the departure, if rumors prove true all the transfers will be postponed to the period after the holly month of Ramadhan ( fasting month).

No vacations for the gendarmerie groups in the coastal provinces

The National Gendarmerie Command has issued orders for all its groups in charge of the supervision of the so called “ Dolphin plan” in the coastal provinces allowing them to take their vacations by mid- September not before.

Views differ from one officer to another concerning the way they spent their holidays, while one of them has declared that he grew accustomed to solitude and life away from his family, another one has revealed that he was itching to have vacations in the summer because he has three daughters who live far away from him in one of the western provinces.

The officers wives hardly adapt to this situation and live in a constant pressure and doubt as to the future destination of their men, one of them has declared “ we have packed all our belongings pending our departure, but we were not advised about our future destination so far”.
