Security Services Arrest Al Ahmadiyya Leader Western Algeria

Security services raided, on Monday night, the house of leader of Ahmadiyya sect in the Municipality of Daiya, which is located south of the Belabbes province (western Algeria), where they arrested him and seized large large-sized images of “Mirza”, who is the spiritual leader of this sect, books and folders that are banned from entering Algeria, identical sources told Echorouk.

Same sources said; “The operation was carried out after a long period of monitoring the movements and activities of the main suspect, before raiding his house and finding all the evidence that prove his leadership of the Ahmadiyya in the south of this province, especially a large picture of “Mirza”, and nearly 30 books and volumes of different titles, bearing fatwas that are used to invite people to join this community, as these books are banned from entering Algeria”.

“The suspect was exploiting his house to organize meeting for this community, and the vigilance of the security services have thwarted on several occasions the collective Friday prayers at his home, and the preliminary investigations made it possible to determine the list of people who belong to this community, which is expected to be among the sects which receive support by foreign parties that are working hard for the export of such beliefs to the Algerian society, through calling on people to embrace void beliefs that oppose the Islamic faith, like believing that prophecy did not end with Muhammad, peace be upon him, and still remains, according to the need of the nation, claiming that the Indian Ahmed Qadiani is the promised Messiah, as their beliefs respect sins such as adultery and drinking alcohol, and they pray only twice a day, and forcing their followers to pay the tax, and believe in the allegiance system”.

Security plan that was launched for a long time came in order to foil the attempts to prejudice the doctrine of society, especially the south of the province that noticed the spread to the side of Ahmadiyya, the Shiism which stays is also noticing an expansion in the region, and in this regard, the same sources asserted that 13 people joined Shiism in the area of Tighalimet, including men and women who belong to the same family, led by an Algerian immigrant in France, who is recruited to spread this doctrine in Algeria, while in Hassi Daho region three people of different ages join Shiism.
