Security Services Arrest The Fugitive Drug Baron Western Algeria

National Gendarmerie services arrested, on Tuesday, the drug baron “H.Oussama”, who is also called “Oussama Escobar”, and who escaped from Algiers El Harrach prison on April.

Gendarmes arrested Oussama in Temouchent (western Algeria), while he was carrying a false identity, and using luxurious cars which price exceeds 80 million DZD, in his movements in Temouchent, Sidi Bel Abbes and Oran (western Algeria).

According to Echorouk sources, the fugutive “Oussama” was on board of a black luxurious car, wearing a very elegant classic suit and a tie and looking like a businessman. He was carrying a false identity to camouflage the security services, but the investigations and searches that were launched by the regional team of El Harrach gendarmerie, in coordination with the platoon of gendarmes that belongs to Algiers gendarmerie services, enabled the investigators, after the extension of the jurisdiction of the process and the preparation of a smart plan, through monitoring the accused who escaped prison, and he was arrested at 3:00 am of Tuesday in Temouchent, as the arrest also resulted in retrieving a luxurious car in Meghnia (western Algeria).

“H. Oussama”, 27, from Msila, becomes famous at the national level since last April, and made himself the talk of public and persons, when he was able to escape from the Algiers El Harrach prison, after his involvement in the largest case of drug smuggling through facilities that were provided by his lawyer “L.Zahira”,38 , for 5 billion DZD, and his father, who provided him with all the material resources, and it is known that the accused is charged in many cases, which made the judicial authorities issued against him many physical arrest warrants and was wanted by security services.

Case of Oussama Escobar noticed the involvement of 17 people, who were brought before the prosecutor of Harrache court for involvement in the process of facilitating the escape of the accused from the re-education and rehabilitation center in Harrache, as the final investigation proved that facilitating, preparing and implementing the escape was carried out by his lawyer during her visit to prison, along with the complicity of some agents of the penal institution, and the involvement of some members of his family, as they are facing the charge of composing a group of villains for the purpose of preparing his escape and negligence leading to the escape of a prisoner. The investigating judge made orders against ten defendants, and also issued orders for judicial control and arrest warrants against the fugitives.
