Security services confirm elimination of Abou Rawaha mastermind to assassinate Bouteflika

Information available to the security services confirm death of Abou Raouaha, nicknamed “Ali.M” leader of “Death battalion” and former leader of Ouestili sub-battalion, accused of being the mastermind to assassinate the Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika with Houari Belezrag (Abou Elmokdad Elwahrani) in the 6th September 2007.

• Identical sources also said the leader Abou Rawaha was eliminated during a combing operation in Ouestili Mountains, following explosion of a land mine.

• The new security data confirmed what “Echorouk” published two months ago, referring to the elimination of the mastermind to the attempt to assassinate Bouteflika between Khenchela and Batna, east of Algeria, following the strikes by the army troops which killed many terrorists there.

• Abou Rawaha came from Bouakal popular city and he is one of the most ancient terrorists in Algeria, whose mission was to implement terrorist attacks in Batna, east of Algeria. He is also the most important terrorist in the terrorist groups there, which lost 38 of their elements from September 2007 to February 2008 following the painful strikes by the security forces as well as work of intelligence.
