Security services dismantle most of the terrorist groups west of Algeria

The region of Ain Defla, west of Algiers, suffered several black years because of the terrorist groups which sought to destroy the region, beginning with the GIA (Armed Islamic Group) terrorists, then “El Houmat” (Protectors) from “Al Ahoual” battalion, however, the most important groups which habe planted terror in the region is the “Protectors of Salafitst Preaching” led by “Abou Djaafar Mohamad Essalafi”.  

• Security services started combing operations in several mountains and arrested many of the terrorists operating in Ain Defla, west of Algeria.
• Security sources told Echorouk that the tight control and inspection led to the arrest to 20 terrorists in Ain Defla, west of Algeria, the last was the arrest of 17 people on charges of supporting the terrorist attacks.
• Echorouk sources asserted that one of the largest military operations was that conducted by the joint forces in Ain Defla, west of Algeria, as they encircled the forest of “Frina” in the high regions of Tachta, borders with Chlef, west of Algeria, following information by three terrorists who surrendered to the security services in Khmis Meliana, west of Algiers, and who disclosed that they were active in a terrorist group of 13 memebers in Frina, citing, according to the same sources, that ten terrorists are living in a forest hideout.
