Security services prepare a new list of 24 potential suicide bombers
The General Directorate of the national security services has prepared a new list of names and pictures of terrorists deemed likely to carry out suicide attacks.
-
The list was sent to all the security services in order to take preventive measures in anticipation of any suicide attacks on the second memory of the first suicide attacks in Algeria and also to disrupt the elections, particularly in light of the presence of representatives of foreign media that are present in Algeria to cover the presidential elections.
-
-
The security services refused to provide details about the new list on the background of the elimination of most terrorists who were designated for carrying out suicide attacks and others who were killed after implementing suicide attacks as well as cracking down on the moves of the rest of them.

-
Local sources indicated that movements of a terrorist from Tlemcen were monitored by the security services. The terrorist was newly recruited in Algiers.

-
The new map reveals in the recruitment of suicide bombers from the east and west of Algeria by the SGPC. These suicide bombers were not wanted by the security services.

-
The terrorist group adopted this new plan in order to break the security cordon that is imposed on the capital Algiers and to avoid being identified, as happened in the suicide attack which targeted Tadmait’s municipal guards’ community in Tizi Ouzou.

-
The new list also recorded a decline in the number of suicide bombers who came from the districts of Algiers compared to the previous list which included 22 suspected suicide bombers out of 32.
