Signatures campaign to recover “forgotten skulls” from France

The Association of Martyr’s Torch chaired by Mohamed Abbad launched a signatures campaign to claim for martyrs’ remaining body parts stored in a museum in Paris.

“After 168 years, we did not forget and we want to recover those skulls to bury them in a proper way. The Association of Martyr’s Torch launch this request and call on citizens to sign it to recover the martyrs’ remaining body parts stored in France,” the Association said in a release.

Members of Parliament plan to address a letter to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika asking him to put pressure on France to recover 36 martyrs’ skulls. They will also call for organizing popular and official funerals to rebury those heroes.
