Signing Of 08 Memoranda Of Understanding Between Algeria And Oman

Algeria and Oman signed, today, Tuesday, under the supervision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq, eight memoranda of understanding covering several fields.

According to what was revealed by Algerian public television, a memorandum of understanding was signed in the field of education, a memorandum of understanding in the field of employment and training, a memorandum of understanding in the field of media signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries, and a memorandum of understanding in the field of higher education and scientific research signed by the foreign ministers of the Algerian and Omani countries.

A memorandum of understanding was also initialed in the field of organizing cooperation, events and conferences signed by the Algerian Minister of Trade and the Omani Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion.

In the field of investment promotion, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two brotherly countries, signed on the Algerian side by the Director General of the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion and the Omani Minister of Trade.

The Algerian-Omani talks also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the field of financial services, signed by the Algerian and Omani finance ministers, in addition to a memorandum of understanding in the field of environment and sustainable development, signed by the Omani Minister of Energy and Minerals and the Algerian Minister of Environment.
