Somayah Al Khashab denies rumors

The famous Egyptian actress Somayah Al Khashab denied rumors which were circulating in the press saying that she had stopped filming her scenes in the new television drama series because she wanted the producer of the series to replace the director Jamal Abed Al Hamid. She stated that such rumors are not true and that she was shocked when they were released in newspapers and on the internet. Somayah is confused to why such rumors are spreading and who is behind them!

• The rumor started from behind the scenes when it was said that “Somayah had left the site of filming because of the way the director was treating her after being late for filming and forgetting her lines”. It was also said that “the director would repeat the scenes over and over many times till Somayah got it right”. After her dispute with the director Somayah left to Alexandria and had her cell phone shut, where the producer of the series Tamer Mursi went after her because there were great losses money wise.
•  On her behalf, Somayah said that “the rumors are not true and that she is a very responsible actress who knows a great deal about production and making deals with various satellite channels to sell the series; therefore, it is impossible that she would be a reason behind making losses for production of the series.” She also adds, “timing is limited and Ramadan season will start soon especially since many of the scenes are not filmed yet, therefore she would not do anything to jeopardize the drama in any way.”
•  Somayah made clear that the person behind these rumors is an actress who is very jealous of her success and wants all the producer and director to stay away and not work with her. Somayah added that this actress won’t succeed, because everyone knows her very well.
•  It is needless to say that the drama series talks about the corruption which struck lately among the members of the Egyptian society and it will star Somayah Khashab, Tareq Lutfi, Ahmad Khalil, Ahmad Salameh, Sami Maghawri, Muhammad Shaqnqiri and the previous Miss Egypt Fawzyeh Muhammad. The series is written by Ahmad Abed Al Fatah and directed by Jamal Aned Al Hamid.
