Sportsmen wish the best of luck for Echourok

Talking on the sidelines of the ceremony that took place at Hilton Hotel here in Algiers, the Algerian football legend Rabah Madjer has congratulated Echourok newspaper for the setting the record of over a million copies released per day.

• The golden boy has declared the achievement was meritorious and Echourok deserves the title of the Algerian press leader “ The newspaper’s achievement was the outcome of its commitment and its support to Algeria during the ferocious Egyptian media campaign against the nation before and after the tow matches in Cairo and Oum Darman”.
• Rabah Madjer further added” I’m seizing this opportunity to thank Echourok for honouring me today and I would like to congratulate its staff for the tremendous success they achieved; I would like to extend my gratitude for the Algeria squad that secured a berth to the world Cup after 24 years… The Algerian people was in need of such achievement after suffering several setbacks over all these years; a special thank to the head coach Rabah Saadane who took on the challenge and did a giant work”.
• For his part the president of the Algerian Football Association (FAF) Mohammed Raouraoua wished further successes for Echourok in the future “ I wished to be wanted to be put in prison for serving the Algeria squad at any moment because it’s an honor for me.. I’m overwhelmed for being honoured by such a prestigious newspaper”, he said.
