Stringent measures in the offing to protect national economy: minister reveals
In a conversation to “Echourok†the small and medium sized enterprises’ minister Mustapha Ben Bada has revealed that the government will resume its credit’s policy for consumers provided that they will finance domestic products.

He indicated that the government is resilient to pursue its protectionist policy and will force foreign operators who benefited from series of incentives and financial advantages to acquire part of the equipment necessary for their investments, produced on the Algerian market.

This new strategy, he added, aims at fostering the industrial network and creates job opportunities.

The minister went in saying that it was aberrant to continue granting credits for local consumers in order to benefit from foreign products, while domestic goods do not find outlets within the national market.

M BenBada has indicated that the main objective of credits is to encourage local consumerism by extension domestic products.

Among the new procedures which have been initiated by the government to sustain growth activities, the minister said, the creation of surveys’ cabinet to help and advise fresh businessmen to start small and medium enterprises in various parts of the country and order banks to play their role in informing young investors about the new strategy as concerns the creation of these enterprises.
