Telephone operator “Nedjema” praises the supplementary financial law

The CEO of the telephone company “Nedjma” Joseph Gad praised the provisions included in the supplementary financial law saying” These procedures are likely to protect the national economy and the Algerian market alike”.

• He said that as foreign investor, he was not upset at all“ Though some procedures would have an impact on the company, this one has to take on the challenge” adding that “Nedjma’ is investing in  Algeria on a long term that’s why it is forging ahead for consolidating these investments.

• Talking yesterday at “ Al Moudjahid Forum” Joseph Gad has indicated that the number of the subscribers has increased by 01 million since the beginning of the year making the total number edging 06 millions.

• He linked this performance to the positive impact of the company’s sponsor to the Algerian football and more specifically the Algerian football squad in addition to the various incentives launched by the operator in favour of the subscribers.

• Joseph Gad went on saying that his company’s financing to the Algerian football in 2010 will be more important the previous year. “Nedjma” is the main partner of the Algerian Football Association and the Algerian squad.

• He took off the veil on the company’s commercials due to be broadcasted on TV as well as the three year contract sealed with the Football legend Zine  Eddine Zidane  with a value of 150 billion Algerian Dinars.

• On the other hand, the CEO vowed to sue the other telephone company Orascom Telecom accusing it of unfair competition declaring “ Jezzy didn’t comply with the rules of fair competition since 2006 causing financial and moral damages to his company”.
