Tens of Tunisians Saturday tried to enter Algeria across the province of Tebessa. More than of 70 angry people wanted to flee difficult social conditions and poverty.
Algerian residents in Tebessa told Echorouk they had offered food, water and clothes to the Tunisian people but did not allowed them to enter. Because of that, Tunisians had to return home at midnight.
This is the second attempt to enter Algeria. Earlier on Wednesday, about 20 Tunisian families made a similar attempt but they were prevented by border guards. They called for the improvement of their social situation and job offers for their sons.
