Authorities resorted, for the purpose of knowing the real identity of fathers of children who born by mountains, based on the statements of their mothers, to extract the remains of terrorists who were eliminated, and subjected them to DNA tests.

According to the statistics that were provided by Marwan Azzi, head of the Cell of Applying Measures of the Charter for Peace and Reconciliation, on Tuesday, 500 kids between the ages of 5 and 15 years are the result of temporary marriage or Fatiha in the mountains Fatiha, but only 37 of them have identified parents.
Azzi said in “Decca News” Forum on the outcome of the Charter of Reconciliation since it was applied on December 2013; “15.200 people benefited from the reconciliation measures since it was created on February, 26, 2006”, then he provided statistics which refute fabrications of some parties that claimed the failure of this law, and tried to exploit some of the files, similar to the missing file to disturb the stability of Algeria.
“For example some parties tried to exploit two families from Algiers and Ain Defla, and give them money. Some of the security personnel committed violations during the black decade, by virtue of the lack of expertise in the fight against terrorism, which they later acquired through experience, especially after the instructions of the President to respect the Criminal Procedure. 7000 families have missing sons and they obtained compensation, and in return 11291 families of sons who are engaged within the ranks of terrorism benefited from compensation, as the Charter of Reconciliation did not exclude 4235 employees who lost their positions, and who have been reintegrated or received compensation”.
