More than two years after the bloody hostage taking of Tiguentourine in In Amenas province in south-eastern Algeria in January 2013, the terrorist group involved in this ill-fated assault and led by terrorist chieftain “Mokhtar Belmokhtar” alias “Belaouar” gave its own version of the facts.

The terrorist group calling itself “Al Mourabitoune” published this Wednesday, April 22, on its website a “documentary review of the operation of the so-called “Signatories to the Blood” movement.

In a 40-page document, the terrorist group traces the organization of the Tiguentourine attack and returned to the moments of “glory” and “failure” of their operation, so that other terrorist elements can ‘be inspired’  from their somber and blameworthy experience.

The group says the operation was not easy, according to the same source. “There was the lack of water, heat, deserted lands,” notes “Al Mourabitoune”. After months of training and learning, the Group finally implemented its plan of action, which it explained in detail. The watchword was purportedly not to harm the Muslims, according to the drafters of the document.

“We chose this site because it was far from homes”. Aboard four vehicles, 29 members of the armed group penetrated into the gas site of Tiguentourine. “We released the Algerians and took hostage 37 expatriates”.

The terrorist group admitted that the Algerian People’s Army (ANP) is very strong, and possesses the necessary equipment.

In another notable fact, “Al Mourabitoune” terror group also called into question the figures provided by the Algerian Government. “They reported having killed 32 terrorists and three hostages, then we were just 29”, the group argued.
