Terrorist: Video shot by terrorists to attract new recruits

The so called “Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb” led by Abdelmalek Droudkel ( Abu Mosaeib Abdelouadoud) shot a video tape showing terrorist training in a “camp” located in the region of Thenia, Boumerdes, (70 kms east of Algiers) and broadcast it through the “Bluetooth” with the view to recruiting new elements, a recently arrested terrorist revealed.

• He further added that the number of terrorists has considerably shrank owing to the intensive military operations carried out by the security forces, saying that “Al Arkem” squad, the second big squad operating in the central region, comprises at best 30 elements , most of them freshmen who joined the terrorist organization beardless , due to their young age.

• The arrested terrorist who goes by the name “ K. Mohammed Sallah” indicated that the military operations that put an end to several leaders within the organization, undermined its stability and brought to surface internecine conflicts to take power driven by regionalism, giving the example of the one that broke out between “ Al Arkem” leader, Sid Ali Kacem born to the region of , Bouira and another leader called Khaled from the region of Beni Amrane.

• In his revelations, the terrorist said that a climate of mistrust is prevailing among the elements and the terrorist operations are planned in extreme secrecy for fear of leakages especially that several repentant have disclosed these plans to security forces.

• The squad’s leader, he said, forbade his elements to read national press and cut all means of communications. However, he allowed them to listen for an hour to the Moroccan radio station” Midi1” denying them the right to posses a cell phone, and whoever trespasses these rules would be eliminated.

• The terrorist declined to disclose the names of elements who fell under this coercive laws, but revealed that the so called “ Sofiane Houdheifa” was drowned in a river.

• He added that the terrorist resort to threat and pressure on the inhabitants of a small village in “Bourdj Menail” to supply themselves especially on chemical manures , used for the fabrication of explosive devices . These products are transported by lorries to a terrorist cache nearby the region of “Thenia” where the so called “ Moh Thenia” proceeds to the fabrication of the bombs.

• The newly created “ Al Arkem” squad comprises fresh recruits most of them have joined the terrorist organization during the years 2006-2007.
