Ten soldiers belonging to the Algerian army perished and seven others injured in an ambush by a terrorist group which targeted a military convoy that was moving Thursday from Eddamous towards Beni Melik, in the far west of Tipaza, in order to supply the control tower with food, identical sources say.

• The same sources said the terrorists attacked the soldiers of the Algerian National Army at about 11 am in the region of “Hazzi Taka”, 3 km from Beni Melik, where they detonated a bomb in order to confuse them before attacking them with the Kalashnikovs killing more than ten soldiers and injuring seven others.
• Echorouk sources reported that terrorists also died during the clashes.
