Terrorists wound policemen, surrenders in Algeria

Terrorists shot a police station wounding two policemen on Friday in the area of Draa Ben Khedda in Tizi Ouzou (100 km east of Algiers), Echorouk has learnt.

• The terrorists run away to an unknown direction. The policemen opened fire wounding some of them, said the same sources.
• Earlier last week, a 30-year-old terrorist surrendered to the Algerian army in Tizi Ouzou and handed over his Kalashnikov.
• This comes as a result of a large-scale military operation n Akfado forests between the provinces of Bejaia and Tizi Ouzou.
• The army did not reveal the man’s identity for security investigation-related reasons. He informed security forces about the location of terrorist groups in the forests of the area and a terror support cell.
