That’s how Moroccan Monarch Mohammed VI imagined the situation in Algeria!

Morocco has continued unabated its attacks on Algeria, and this time through the country’s official media outlet, specifically the Moroccan News Agency “MAP”, after a period when these accusations and insults were the work of Moroccan officials and politicians.

The Moroccan news agency MAP, published on its website an article comprising a lot of disinformation and inaccuracies, entitled “Between the riots and the decline in oil revenues, the gloomy horizon now overhanging Algeria”.

The article’s author was full of hatred and malice, claiming as he put it that “many Algerians living in cities have felt the impact of the riots and popular demands due to the hike in prices of basic commodities, branding them as unbearable”.

Political observers note that  these Moroccan allegations of a so-called “instability” in Algeria through this malicious article is part of the Moroccan kingdom’ vain attempts to obfuscate its decline, in an unprecedented way, in the Arab world and in the African continent, and this was glaringly displayed during the last Arab-African summit held in Equatorial Guinea, where the wide majority of the official representatives of African and Arab countries, flatly rejected Rabat’s request for a forced withdrawal from the summit proceedings of Western Sahara’s Polisario Front.

This, they stressed, was widely seen as a scathing diplomatic setback for the Moroccan authorities who always seek to pin the blame on its neighbor Algeria by unleashing hostile press campaigns marked by mendacious allegations and insults.
