The Algerian community in USA starts voting
The Algerian community living in the USA began the voting process since last Saturday.

14 electoral offices opened for this purpose in order to enable the Algerian residing in the USA to choose the future Algerian president.

The number of voters in the USA reached 4472, Jalal Ahmed, chairman of the consular section in Washington and head of the centre of elections said.

“The Algerians vote in good conditions and all the potentials were provided in order to enable them choose the future Algerian president. We opened two new offices in Missouri and Ohayo”.

However, representatives of five candidates were absent and only the representative of the free candidate Abdelaziz Bouteflika was present.

The Algerian Ambassador to the USA, Abdellah Baali, launched an awareness campaign in some regions of the USA including, New York, Boston, Chicago, Texas, and California, where he met some Algerian voters.

The screening process will began Thursday evening at 9 pm in the centre of elections at the Algerian embassy in USA in Washington.
