The Egyptian authorities decided to change the date of opening the doors of the Cairo International Stadium to host the match Algerian vs. Egypt.

• The stadium was supposed to open its doors for the supporters at 15:00 pm, i.e. before the start of the match with three hours.

• In the face of the large crowd of supporters, particularly Algerians, the organizers decided to open the doors at 10:20 am, as this surprising decision came following the supporters’ gathering in all the sides, thing which created some sort of congestion in the international stadium, that’s why the security services resorted to opening the doors to avoid serious problems between the two squads’ supporters.
