The Generation’s master honoured by Echourok

On the occasion of the celebrations of the 47th anniversary of the recovery of sovereignty on the Algerian Radio and Television Echourok’s Director General Ali Fodhil honoured one of the of the pillars of the Algerian radio M Abdelkader Nour.

• Ali Fodhil penned him as one of the symbols of the national militancy and an outstanding media professional. He seized this opportunity to call for designating October 28, as the National Media Day.
• In his welcoming address to Abdelkader Nour and his fellow militants and former colleagues at the national radio, M Ali Fodhil has declared that “today’s generation has to follow in the footsteps of the man who devoted his life to make the voice of Algeria heard within the country and overseas”.  He added that “ it was a privilege to follow in the footsteps of Abdelkader Nour for the media newcomers, the generations which came after including mine found in Abdelkader Nour’s voice a source of inspiration that helped to fulfil their dreams”.
• Ali Fodhil went on saying that Echourok’s invitation to Abdelkader Nour, whom he considers as the “generation’s master”, and his honouring the same day as the recovery of Radio and Television’s sovereignty as a priceless opportunity for this newspaper because it hosted one of the media pillars in Algeria.
• Abdelaziz Chekiri: Nour deserves to have the same status as Emir Abdelkader and Boaamama.
• One of his friends, Colonel Aziz Chekiri gas declared that Abdelkader Nour was among the militants who fought for beaming the Algerian voice on the waves. He and his colleagues Aissa Messaoudi, Laghouati and Khaled Safer busted French soldiers while they were trying to steal spare parts in order to put out of order sensitive equipment and stop broadcasting the programs.
• Abdelaziz Chekiri went on saying that Abdelkader Nour was a fervent militant and deserves to have the same consideration as El Amir Abdelkader and Bouaamama .

• For his part, Abdelkader Nour was touched by the homage paid to him by Ehourok considering it as homage for all the Algerian media professional who strived to raise the voice of Algeria abroad including presenters and engineers, not forgetting to mention the new generation which is bearing the torch. With humbleness he declared “ It is an honor for me to be among great figures who contributed to ground the Arab culture’s basis in this national day in addition to the presence of former officers of the National Front Liberation who bore arms against colonialism.
