The “Greens” spend New Year celebrations together with their relatives

The players of the Algeria football squad yesterday left the training camp in Castellet in Southern France in order to spend during a short rest the New Year celebrations together with their families and friends. 

• Most of the Algerian professional players have directly converged on the French capital Paris to celebrate the advent of the New Year 2010 with their relatives.
• Karim Ziani, Antar Yahia, Djamel Abdoun and Bouazza are currently in Paris for a family get-together.
• For his part, Karim Matmour took a flight bound for Strasbourg where his family is settled while Abdelkader Ghezzal headed for the city of Lyon.
• Several local players namely Gaouaoui, Chaouchi and Samir Zaoui chose Paris and Marseille for family reunions and encounters with close friends there.
• On the other hand, Rafik Saïfi and Mourad Meghni took a direct flight for Algiers with the aim of getting together with their family members on the occasion of the New Year celebrations.
• Last but not least, national team coach Rabah Saâdane preferred to stay on in Marseille where he paid a visit to his son who is following university studies in Southern France.
• The second phase of the Greens’ training camp is slated to kick off next Saturday always in the Castellet sports center before the team’s departure for Luanda scheduled for January 7^th 2010.
