The Russian giant “Stroy Trans Gas†withdraws from Algeria
The Russian giant « Stroy Trans Gas », in which the Russian company “Gas Prom†is the largest contributor, announced its withdrawal from the oil fields in Algeria and the sale of its share in the oil project with the companies “Russia Oil†in Algeria to this latter for $200 million.

It announced its withdrawal from the investment project for exploring oil with the investment cost identified by the General Manager of “Russia oil” company Nicolai Borisenko with $1.3 billion.

“Stroy Trans Gas” is the only Russian companies which have large projects for the construction of oil and gas installations in 15 countries of the world.

The withdrawal of this company, according to the Russian TV channel “Russia Today” which is belonging to “TV-Novosti”, came following the partnership with “Russia oil” in the project to explore oil fields in Algeria in partnership with “SONATRACH” according to the agreement for participation in the production with a share of the two Russian companies with 60%, a rate of 30% for each one, and SONATRACH with 40%.
