The special security plan to extend to the post-electoral period

The security plan which was adopted by the security services to ensure the electoral campaign and that has already been published in Echorouk in former numbers will be doubled and will extend to the post-electoral period on the grounds that the presidential elections are coinciding with the second year of the implementation of the first suicide bombings that rocked Algiers in April 11 targeting the government palace and the headquarters of the urban security in Bab Zouar, Algiers.

• In this context, security services received a list of new suicide bombers who were recruited to carry out suicide attacks in this period in various regions because terrorist know that the security services are busy with the elections.

• The significant number of terrorist who surrendered in the recent weeks in Boumerdes, eats of Algiers, considered the main stronghold of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat GSPC under the leadership of Droudkel, provided information to the security services about the existence of terrorist plans at this time in search of fame, particularly after the decline of their remarkable recent terrorist activity after the pressure by the army troops on their strongholds. Unknown suicide bombers have also been recruited in the recent days.
