This is how Algerians created a site “Algerians are Atheists” on Facebook!

Two Algerian atheists called “R.F”, aged 27 years, and the second called “E. Z”, aged 28 years, appeared on Tuesday, before the Criminal Chamber Court of M’sila (eastern Algeria), on charges of posting on the social networking site “Facebook” outrageous publications very hostile to religion and to the morals of society.

This case, which sparked off a tidal wave of adverse reactions among large segments of the Algerian population strongly condemning the heinous actions of these two nefarious individuals who came to the point of singing jeeringly a verse from the Holy Quran, and publishing vile cartoons of the Prophet Mohamed, God’s peace and blessings be upon him on the Facebook site, as such acts are severely punishable under Algerian law notably under Article 144 A 2 of the Penal Code.

The General Prosecutor pointed out during the trial that the accused had committed a serious offense, and called for a tough punishment against them. 

After the defense lawyer’s arguments, the criminal court issued a decision to postpone the handing down of the verdict until next week.
