The Tiguentourine gas facility

Documents and studies show terror plans on Algerian borders. A group working for Marabouts in Mali managed an attack on a gas complex in southern Algeria, according to a confidential document untitled ‘Tiguentourine..the war on France’s agents in Algeria.’

The Tiguentourine attack came four days after France had carried a military operation in Northern Mali. The armed group wanted to take revenge but their attack was foiled by the Algerian army.

The document shows that the organization focused on three points: exploration, detection of the target vital points and equipment. It started preparing for the Tiguentourine attack as the gas complex had a strategic, economic and political value.

The plan was divided into two parts: scientific observation using the Internet and field observation.

The attack was scheduled on the same time with a meeting between four world corporation directors. The attackers were helped by some civilians in spying on the oil field.

The document includes pictures of training camps where attackers are selected. The terror organization showed the arms it used in the Tiguentourine attack, saying it could not use heavy weapons.

According to the same source, the attackers had been hiding in the desert for two months. They could have stayed in Mali because they said their commanders kept in touch with them.
