Tiny southern locality under high alert

Elders and prominent figures of the locality of Tinzaouatine (southern Algeria) have revealed to “ Echorouk” that they didn’t receive any response to their request from Tamanrasset’s local authorities, concerning the outcome of the meeting that took between them and the town’s committee as to their social demands.

• The situation is boiling and is about to turn to worse in this poor region whose population is deprived of the basic needs to lead a descent life including food and a house to shelter them in the summer season.
• According to revelations made to “Echorouk” , some parts are accused of being responsible of this situation with the aim to destabilize the area which is located few kilometers far  from the neighboring country Mali.
• It is meant, according to them, to trigger anew the violent events that plunged the locality into chaos and caused several injuries among the protesters including two young men judged in critical conditions.
