Two terrorists killed in military operation

National military troops the day before yesterday eliminated two dangerous terrorists in the region of Tigzirt (38 kms north of Tizi Ouzou province) in an ambush and recovered two Kalashnikovs. One of them was the leader of “ Katibat Al Anssar” who goes by the name of Messrour (38) nicknamed “Al Aouer”.

• Corroborating sources revealed that the operation has been carefully planned following precise security intelligences concerning the movement of an important terrorist group in the forest axis of the region of Mizrana.
• The terrorists were caught in the trap set up by the military troops and exchanged fire for more than half an hour that wound up with the killing of two of them and the wounding of others who succeeded in escaping through the bush.
