U.S team’s captain Carlos Bocanegra to Echorouk: “We will not underestimate the Algerian team”

The United States national team's captain, Carlos Bocanegra, said chances of teams in the group C are equal, but England because it is a large team with a good reputation.

• Captain of the U.S team told Echorouk on Monday; “I think the competition will be fierce because every team will try to qualify to the second round”.

• Rennes French football club player said the English team includes international stars and the U.S team has good players who play in the English Premier League.

• The American defender did not exclude Algerian Desert Warriors from the competition to qualify to the next round saying; “Algeria’s team played well in the World Cup playoffs and made a tough match against the African champions that’s why it is a strong and dangerous team”.

• Although the good reputation of his team as one of the candidates to qualify to the second round, Bokanegra said, “I will not underestimate the capacities of Algerian and Slovenian teams as the struggle is difficult”.

• “Every team that qualified to the World Cup is strong and deserves it. I do not think that teams move to South Africa for participating only, as well as for Slovenia and Algeria”.
