UK to deport 30 Algerian prisoners
Algerian and British judicial authorities agreed on the deportation of more than 30 Algerians jailed in the UK including 15 terror suspects, according to well-informed sources.

Contacts made by a delegation from Algerian Justice Ministry have come up with the necessity of deporting the Algerian prisoners for trial in their homeland.

In 2007, British authorities stopped deportation process of a number of 4 terror suspects out of 17. The decision was based on fears triggered following the extradition of D.R. and B.A. in February 2007 who are jailed in Algiers.

London asked Algiers to provide it with more information on allegations given by their lawyers on ill-treatment.

As for the rest of the terror suspects, they asked for deportation and trial in their country especially after the settlement of the law on the National Reconciliation.
